I traveled to Kissimmee, Florida to compete in the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation’s Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship. The Black Belt master 6 heavyweight bracket consisted of eight competitors.
I won the first match by Kimura submission.
The semi-final match was secured by an Americana wrist lock.
The final was a tight battle that ended tied 2 points each. The referee’s decision went to my opponent.
I then signed up for the Black Belt master 6 Open division. After winning the quarter-final, I ended up losing the semi-final to place third in a field of nine competitors.
